Edgar is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern who holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy from Walden University.  He began his career in mental health, providing support to children with autism and their families before transitioning to the child welfare system, where he worked with youth navigating complex family dynamics, trauma, and systemic challenges.

During his graduate training, Edgar gained valuable clinical experience working with adults experiencing both acute and chronic mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and psychotic disorders.

As a clinician, Edgar is deeply passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families through vulnerable life stages and is dedicated to empowering clients to achieve their mental health goals.  He utilizes evidence-based practices and tailors his therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s unique strengths, needs, and circumstances.

On a personal level, Edgar enjoys watching sports, including the Miami Dolphins and Denver Nuggets; watching anime; playing video games; and spending time with his fiancée, family, and their two dogs, Chrollo and Ten.
