This Psychology Today Blog post has put Couples Therapy in perspective for me. As a therapist, I forgot how vulnerable and worrisome it is to be in front of a Therapist. The good news is that all the myths surrounding Couples therapy do not have to end in the wrong note. Researchers have also found that a large percentage of individuals come to therapy to learn to cope with conflict, make stronger bonds, improve communication, closeness, and enhance intimacy.
